Several adults were observed at 14:28. This observation proves that distribution of the species has expanded westwards. The nearest previously known record of this species is about 51km away- at Punta Cana (Landestoy T. et al. 2010. Reptiles Amphib 17:180-181) which was the first observation of that species on the island. In the author's opinion the lizards observed by him south-east of Dominicus are descentants of the lizards reported in 2010 at Punta Cana.
